New online course with Vilma

Nurturing life in the Pachakuti age

After we were really busy with our health at kuychichaka, YOU got us back on track. Because the new online circle with Vilma emerged quite organically from the WhatsApp group, simply because we all wished each other a Happy Easter. And wishes come true immediately, so: the resurrection of the online circle with Vilma is here!
Vilma will be with us for 3 months, and we’ll meet every 2 weeks, on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. European time. The theme was also quickly established: joy and inner peace.
In conversation with Vilma and Volker, it soon became clear that there is an overarching theme, since we are still in the midst of the Pachakuti era—the time of transformation, Taripay Pacha.
Vilma will not only tell us about this special time but also guide us through rituals and ceremonies that support us in self-care and our daily “care for life.” As always, of course, the community—our Ayllu—is an important element: We nourish and support one another, listen to one another, and encourage one another, both in the talking circle and in the WhatsApp group.

Kuychichaka at the Festival for Creative Development

This year, the Creative Being Summer School Festival and Summer Academy for creative work and personal development will take place at Schloss Hofen in Austria (Lochau, near Lake Constance) from July 23 to 26. It is organized by Isabella Marte, who some of you surely know from Vilma’s courses.
Volker and Andrea will also be on site this weekend and offer workshops.
On Friday and Sunday there will be a cocoa ceremony and a Hayhuarikuy/Despacho ceremony (according to the current status).
As soon as the program is finalized and online, we will of course share all the details with you here in the newsletter.
That would be a great opportunity for us all to see each other live again, wouldn’t it?

PERURAY

Probably mid-April 2027
Mid-November 2026 We want to spend 10 days with you in the Sacred Valley to become one with the shamanic tradition of the Andes. We will spend the first half together with Don Augustin, his son Santos and their wives Sebastiana and Remigia near Cuzco. They will introduce us to the magic and energy of the Nustas and as the crowning glory we will receive the Nusta Karpay from them. After an integration day, on which you will have free time, we will work together with Vilma Pinedo near Pisac in the second half. Here we also explore the holy places in the area together, away from the well-known tourist magnets. Changes to the program, e.g. due to weather conditions, are possible.

The complete planning has not yet been finalized, but we would like to keep you up to date with initial estimates. The trip will cost around 3000 euros, including accommodation and meals (mostly breakfast and dinner), as well as transportation during our trip (travel to and from the airport is not included). And of course the program with the Paqos and Hampeqs is included!

As soon as the group has been determined, we want to prepare for the trip together. In advance, you will receive suggestions on what you should pack, tips on booking flights and acclimatizing to the altitude and, above all, the opportunity to contact me (Andrea) directly with any questions you may have. For spiritual preparation, there will be an online Despacho ceremony before the start of the trip. And you will also have the opportunity to get to know Don Augustin and Vilma in advance during the course of the year. The next online offers with them will be announced soon.

And here are a few more personal words from Andrea, a few impressions from her big trip to Peru in 2022 to get you in the mood:

If you are thinking about traveling with kuychichaka to the Sacred Valley in Peru, I (Andrea) would like to tell you a little bit about what to expect there. And what Peru might expect from you 🙂

My first trip in 2022 was plagued by many fears beforehand: I don’t know the language, the travel guides warn women traveling alone about all sorts of things, I didn’t even know where to start. All I knew was that I wanted to personally express my gratitude to all the wonderful places that I had come to know over the past two years through the stories of my shamanic teachers. Because they had changed my life and me without me ever having been there.

Before the trip, I wanted to ask permission. In keeping with tradition, I did this at my strongest apu (mountain), the Untersberg. I went up there with trembling knees, brought my kintus and gifts, asked him to introduce me to the Peruvian mountains and announce my coming. And then I paid attention to the answer. It suddenly smelled of sage and a tiny bird swooped past the cave where I was sitting. We don’t have hummingbirds here, but the size of the bird reminded me of them. The message told me: “Anything is possible! Of course you can go.” Now I knew the Untersberg would support me on my journey and the Peruvian Apus would welcome me.

Spiritual preparation is one thing. The other is mental and purely practical preparation. Peru is a third world country. Just a little insight into what I can’t expect: Always and everywhere electricity and WiFi, running water (let alone warm water), a toilet, drinking water from the tap, a warm room when it gets really cold in the evening, to arrive at the place where I originally wanted to go. What I can expect in return: There is always a possibility, I am open and ready for anything. I have learned to trust that I am always in the right place at the right time, even if it wasn’t the one I had in mind. Trust that Pachamama will always send the right people my way. Because only together, with mutual help and support, can a journey like this really be a lasting experience!

The lost children

That can mean a lot of things. For me (Andrea), I often had the vague feeling that I was alone and that there was someone who actually wanted to be with me. And that is an unborn aunt (or maybe uncle) of mine. My grandma got pregnant again at the age of 43, when my mom was pregnant with me. She decided that it was too much for her and that she was going to be a grandma and not a mom. It wasn’t a secret, I always knew that. But it wasn’t until I was able to assign the vague feeling to this missing being in my life and then made contact with her in my own way (in my head it’s an aunt) that something changed. A hole in the family patchwork was filled.
Lost children can mean many different things. Sometimes there is a twin who leaves the womb unnoticed. Or a foetus fails to implant. Or you may even be faced with heartbreakingly difficult decisions about whether you can keep a child. Or it may say goodbye to you before birth. An adult child who dies before the parents can also leave a serious gap. Or everyone in the family is alive, but there is a rift. And there are so many more situations where children are missing and lost…
Lost children – a vast field. We enter it together with Vilma.
All sessions will be held in English, recorded and sent out the next day, together with a summary in German prepared by Andrea. The last session is a ceremony in which we make a hayhuarikuy / despacho together.

THE ART OF DESPACHO

Learn the basics of despacho ceremonies, bring more harmony into your everyday life and celebrate life.

The despacho describes the Andean ceremonial practice of offering sacrifices to the mountains (Apus), Mother Earth (Pachamama) and other nature spirits in reciprocity, reverence and thanksgiving.
A despacho is an act of love and a reminder of the connections we share with all beings, elements, spirits and sacred places. At the deepest level, it is an opportunity to enter into the essential oneness of all things, the living energy of the universe.
Despachos offer us a tool to move and change our own energy, the energy of a group, the world and the cosmos.
In this course, you will learn the most important cornerstones of this art and the principles of a despacho ceremony using various despachos that we will create together.
By the end you will have established a deeper connection to the powers of Pachamama (Mother Earth) and be able to perform your own Despacho ceremony.

Course schedule:

Before each course you will receive a handout of the upcoming despacho with the respective list of ingredients.

During the course, Volker will lead the despacho ceremony and make it for the whole group. Each participant can make their own despacho at home at the same time. At the end of the course, the despacho must be burnt or buried – you will of course receive instructions on how to do this during the course.

However, this should not create any fulfillment stress for you, as not everyone has the opportunity to make a fire to burn the despacho at any time. You are also welcome to simply “just” let the despacho work on you during the course and surrender to the energy and the process.

After the course, you will have access to the recording and can recreate the despacho at any time and at your own pace.

Project Wonder Woman

Kuychichaka connects cultures. At our last club meeting in November, we came up with the idea of combining our wealth of experience from TCM, yoga/tantra/Ayurveda, Western medicine and the wisdom of the Andes and sharing it with you for a whole year.
A woman’s life is divided into 3 major stages: the girl/young woman from her first period, the mature, bleeding, fertile woman and the “wise old woman” with the menopause. Each of these phases has its joys and challenges. And we want to talk about them openly and let you talk about them too.

It is a mixture of knowledge sharing (an online evening of around 90 minutes during the week, approximately every 14 days), followed by the opportunity to share and ask questions in the protected environment of the circle. At the end of each phase, there is also a session just for communicating with each other and integrating what has been experienced with the support of an online cocoa ceremony.

We want to remain very practice-oriented. What concerns the participants, what topics are important to the group? There is therefore no claim to completeness, but the openness to be able to respond to everything that is there. Vilma Pinedo, Volker Truckenthanner, Katharina Muck and Andrea Schorr will be at your side as “speakers” and guides throughout this year. And perhaps a surprise guest or two!

Membership is required to participate in all of the association’s projects and programs. The annual membership fee of €70 enables us to organize new projects and establish the necessary infrastructure. Thank you very much for your support.
